Hi! I am a multi disciplinary designer based in Brooklyn, New York. I find inspiration in observing the natural world, capturing the ordinary interactions between people and our surroundings. Much of my work as a designer focus on studying the interplay between humans and our environment. Photography and painting have been a form of exploring my curiosity in various subjects. It has been an intrinsic form of expression since a child, allowing myself to slow time down and remain present, something that I aim to emulate in my work.

Originally, I was studying psychology at the University of Baltimore. After graduating from the University of Maryland’s School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation in 2018, I moved to New York to pursue architectural design (and design adjacent) work. In 2019, I worked in construction tech and then transitioned to architectural lighting design in 2021. With time, my experience and interests guided me closer to intersectional sustainability and regenerative design.

My studies simultaneously inspired my interest in the hospitality industry. I have worked alongside chefs who helped me understand the intricacy in pairing and the significance of holistic spaces. Currently, I am freelancing along with producing my first publication for Fingir, focusing on artists from the Central American diaspora. In September of 2021, I curated my first show for Fingir, Somewhere Between, at Dupont Underground in Washington, D.C. The show introduces the project’s mission to highlight topics traditionally considered culturally taboo, and strengthen the intergenerational ties between families and their roots.
